Bayshore Medical Center

The Bayshore Medical Center was the fastest when it came to patients waiting for an initial diagnostic exam, however, expect to wait a while if it is necessary for you or your loved one to be admitted to the hospital.

4 hours 56 minutes – wait time for a patient to be admitted to the hospital
2 hours 29 minutes – wait time for a patient to be discharged and sent home
Clear Lake Regional Medical Center

If you’re on the South side of Houston it looks like you have a great option for speedy emergency medical care at this hospital. Wait times here were some of the lowest of any hospital in the Houston-Metro area.

4 hours 40 minutes – wait time for a patient to be admitted to the hospital
2 hours 17 minutes – wait time for a patient to be discharged and sent home
Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital

For those of you more to the Northeast, this hospital in Humble had great low times for initial exams, but if you need to be admitted it looks like they get quite sluggish.

Park Plaza Hospital

Located in the medical center of Houston, Park Plaza posted great average wait times across the board for admitting, discharging and initial exams. Definitely one of your best options if you’re inside the loop.

4 hours 48 minutes – wait time for a patient to be admitted to the hospital
2 hours 38 minutes – wait time for a patient to be discharged and sent home
Houston Methodist Hospital

The Methodist is also located in the Houston medical center, and although the admitting wait time is a little high, still has great low wait times for discharging and initial diagnostic exams.
