The holidays are a great time to engage in quality time with our children, and nothing says family time like doing arts and crafts together. This paper Easter bunny is a perfect way to spark your child’s artistic side while spending some cherished time with them.
Supplies:
· 2 small paper plates
· 2 cotton balls
· 1 small pink pompom
· 2 googly eyes
· Black marker
· Pink crayon
· Scissors
· Glue
· Small piece of colored construction paper for the bunny’s bowtie
Instructions:
1. Cut one of the paper plates in half, and with the pink crayon, color the inner section of each plate half. Then glue the two halves onto the back of the full plate to serve as the bunny’s ears.
2. Glue the two cotton balls in the center of the plate as the muzzle, and the pink pompom right above the cotton balls to form the bunny’s little nose.
3. Glue on the googly eyes.
4. Under the muzzle, draw a mouth with the pink crayon.
5. Cut out the shape of a bow-tie from the colored construction paper and glue onto the bottom center of the plate. Add details to the bow-tie with the black marker.
The simplicity of this craft will keep your child’s attention and get them in the holiday spirit. Happy Easter!
