If your child loves Lego’s or Duplo’s this Buggy and Buddy activity is the perfect way to sneak some learning in! Just have your little one complete some simple tasks for you.
Make sure all the available Lego’s are ready and at the child’s disposal, then ask them for simple shapes they can form with their blocks. Like, what’s the tallest Lego structure they can build, or the shortest. After it’s completed, count as many of the Lego’s as possible together!
Then ask them to form a letter of the alphabet with the Lego’s, and after, build a number. As the child gets older, you can even have them spell out their vocabulary words in blocks, and discuss what each word means. Building blocks are a creative way to incorporate learning and fun!
