Every holiday, we take pictures to capture the memories we make with our families and friends. This Christmas try something different! Photo booths are great party fun, but can be pretty pricey. Instead, create your own photo booth session and props your family and friends will love!
Supplies:
-Camera to take the pictures
-Construction paper
-Scissors
-Pencil, pen, markers
-Glue gun or regular Elmer’s glue
-Thin small sticks found in crafts or baking
You and your children can use the pencil, pen, marker of choice to start to trace out the props like Santa’s Hat, Santa’s Beard, Mrs. Claus’s Spectacles, Reindeer Antlers, Rudolph’s nose.
Make one of each, and then use it as templates to make more (you will need two cut outs for each prop). Cut out all the props and pile them up together and set them aside.
Now start with one pile. For example, lay Santa’s Beard down on a flat surface. Along the edges, hot glue or Elmer’s glue an area, then place a stick on the glued area, and immediately place the another cut out of Santa’s beard on and push down so all the glue can stick together. Repeat those steps for each cut out prop.
Now, find a small area of your home to hang a decorative sheet or wrapping paper for the background of your pictures, it’s the perfect opportunity to get as creative as you want here! Place your props near the wall and you’re ready to go!
Now your family and guests can make memories with your own fun Christmas photo session.
