Make mastering the alphabet a blast with this cute craft we adapted from Little Family Fun!
Supplies:
– colored construction paper
– Scissors
– Glue or glue sticks
– Marker
– Pencil
– Small cup
Use the pencil and your cup to make 52 circles on various colors of construction paper, then grab your scissors and cut the circles out.
Next, take your marker and make an upper case and lower case alphabet set with the circles.
Cut out a car shape (without wheels) and paste it on piece of construction paper. We gave our car a background with pavement, sun and clouds, and then added an outline for where the wheels would go.
And now its time to play! Find a place to spread out the letter wheels and paper car. Say the letter and have your little one match the upper case and lower case set before adding them onto the car as the wheels. You can also ask them to find two separate letters, like uppercase ‘G’ and ‘K’ or lower case ‘b’ or ‘s’. Sound out the letters together and most importantly have fun!
