Are you a mom who finds her little one getting into everything while you’re busy working on the next project for the day? Here is a clever way you don’t have to worry about your little one. This activity keeps them busy and learning at the same time. All you will need are a few things that can be found at your local dollar store, Wal-Mart or grocery store. You might even have these things at home already.
You’ll need:
– Construction paper or white copy paper
– Marker
– Abc magnets and number magnets
– Tape
Get the construction or blank paper and use the marker to write out the letters of the alphabet. Make sure they are a pretty big size. You can make it a bit more challenging by mixing the letters, and tape it low enough on your refrigerator so the little one can reach. Then have your child match the letters you wrote with the magnets.
You can even make different activity sheets with words or even numbers if it’s a hit with your child. Buying multiple packs of each letter and number makes it easier to create longer words and math problems for your child to solve.
