Get the entire family in the rodeo spirit! This is the last weekend of rodeo season at Reliant Park, full of livestock shows, concerts, and carnival rides available for everyone, as well as a Kids Country section made just for the little ones. So put on your best southern gear and get down to the largest rodeo in the world!
Kid Country, located closest to the Fannin side of the stadium, across from east parking, provides camel and pony rides, piglet racing, a petting zoo, tractor pull racing, and muttin bustin, where children can attempt to hold on to a sheep for eight seconds! They also have the TDECU Fun on the Farm, where children can perform real farm tasks, and a special area of the carnival just for tots.
The general exhibit is open from 9am to 9pm, but check the website for certain activity schedules. While some activities like the TDECU Fun on the Farm, and tractor pull is free, there are some events like the carnival and rides that will have fees.
No matter what you see at the rodeo, you’ll have a blast showing your little Houstonian the amazing culture and tradition of the Houston Rodeo!
