Houston’s Memorial Park and Arboretum

If you are looking for a great place to get in tune with nature and do some moderate hiking, head on over to the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. It has 155 acres of nature and wildlife, all apart of Memorial Park. There are eight different trails to choose from, completely free of charge to visitors.

The Arboretum is an enjoyable and educational place for Houstonians of all ages, but don’t take our word for it! Go pay them a visit; they have variety of nature workshops for all ages. Everyone can use a getaway from the usual hustle and bustle of the city sometimes.

Weekly at the Arboretum

Tuesdays: Rawfully Organic Co-op from 4:00-7:00pm

Wednesdays: Introductory Tai Chi from 5:45pm-6:45pm

Thursdays: Yoga On The Way Home at 5:45pm

2nd & 4th Saturdays: Phenology Walks at 9:00am

Sundays: Introductory Tai Chi from 9:00am-10:00am
