This cute DIY jewelry display adapted from She Knows Living can be hung right next to your vanity, make-up mirror, or closet and can be customized with fabric to match your décor. All you’ll need are a few basics from your local arts and crafts store.
Supplies:
· Frame
· Burlap or any fabric
· Cardboard
· Scissors
· Hot glue gun
· Large beads or pearls
· Large Sewing Pins
· Decorative flowers (optional)
First, take your cardboard and measure it to be the same size as the backing of your picture frame or the frame’s glass (the glass won’t be need for the rest of the project so if you don’t have it, not worries). If you only have the frame itself, make sure the cardboard fits inside the frame like the glass or backing would.
After the cardboard is cut to the proper size, tightly wrap your fabric around the front of your cardboard rectangle, making sure it fits snuggly into the frame, and then cut the access fabric if needed and glue onto the back.
Next, take your your beads and hot glue them onto the tops of the sewing pins. Make as many as you want, these will be pinned onto the fabric for the jewelry to hang off of. Glue on your decorative flowers (if you have them) on the top of the fabric rectangle, and once dried pin the needles wherever you’d like!
Now just hang the frame and add on your jewelry! Have you made this project before? Let us know your turned out in the comments below!
