Whether they’re playing, running, or falling of their bikes, children are getting hurt all the time. Instead of reaching for that frozen bag of peas in your freezer, grab a homemade ice pack, fondly called the Boo Boo Pack! These very inexpensive packs are easy to make, convenient and can be kept in your freezer for when you, or your little ones needs a cooling ice pack to help a boo boo!
Supplies:
-Gallon size Ziploc bags (depending how many you are going to make)
-Rubbing alcohol
-Water
Mix one part of rubbing alcohol and three parts water into the gallon size Ziploc bag. Make sure to seal and close them tight. Then place it in the freezer. They won’t freeze, but be perfectly cool, and now you have ice packs handy!
